Abstract Collection
My work is rooted in the tradition of contemporary abstract expressionism, where the canvas serves as a record of a physical event. I operate on the principle that a painting must be "lived" rather than planned. To plan a piece too rigidly is to risk making it static. Instead, I allow the work to emerge through a completely intuitive process. My practice is highly gestural. I focus on the raw energy of the brushstroke, using movement to translate internal memories into external forms. While some pieces find structure in bold shapes, others remain suggestive, allowing the viewer’s own subconscious to complete the narrative.
My work as an Abstract Expressionist is a pursuit of "organised chaos." I believe that life—and art—is not a dress rehearsal; therefore, I approach the canvas without a rigid plan, allowing the piece to emerge through a completely intuitive process.
